Latin Specialties was born from a long standing family tradition of growing, selling and distributing produce from Mexico. The roots of Latin Specialties began in the 1960′s when the founder started farming strawberries and other produce in Michoacán, Mexico. He later realized and seized the opportunity to be one of the first exporters of Mexican produce to Europe by air transportation and later by steamship.
Latin Specialties is a family-owned business with a big business approach. We develop personal relationships with our growers, suppliers and customers and ensure pricing competitiveness by taking advantage of our extensive supplier network and excellent industry credit ratings. We invest wisely in the latest facilities, technology and equipment and make food safety one of our highest priorities.
