Job Description:
Lead in the development, implementation and management of the operations strategy as well as provide overall leadership and direction to operations management and staff.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in driving employee performance and results.
- Broad knowledge and experience in food manufacturing, production and facility management.

- General knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processing systems.
- Experience in HACCP and GFSI standards, and systems theory.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide training to production manager and supervisor regarding employee relations and retention.
- Investigate and provide recommendations on ways to minimize product loss.
- Assist in the coordinating cross training on different lines.
- Oversee any production projects outside of the normal daily tasks.
- Oversee and assist in managing the staff; provide input on work schedules and assigning specific duties
- Assist in establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
- Determine staffing requirements as well as oversee the interview and hiring process and assist in training new employees.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to handle various levels of stress.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, cold and wet environments. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to high.

Qualifications:
