We are looking for a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to our team in McAllen, Texas!

As the Inside Sales Representative, this person will be an integral part of our business operations. You will be responsible for growing existing customers, creating new customers, and meeting company goals. We need an expert who specializes in tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. They will be goal driven, and a truly passionate salesperson who enjoys working with produce and the entire sales process from start to finish.

Requirements: 
  • Must have 3-5 years’ produce sales experience specifically in tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Expertise in Excel and Access.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
  • Effective time management skills.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Generate new and repeat sales.
  • Seek out and establish new contacts.
  • Analyzes customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows as required.
  • Educate customers regarding product features and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct cold calling campaigns to target markets and customers.
  • Ensure that each assigned customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment and excellent product knowledge and follow through.
  • Other duties as assigned.
