Produce Wholesaler for the Tri-State Area is offering a career opportunity for an Entry Level Sales Position.We are a very successful Produce Wholesaler located in Newark, NJ, with more than 80 years of experience.
We have an opening for a self-motivated candidate who has passion and drive. You will be provided with in depth training and learn the business from the ground up; learning all aspects of the business, gaining product knowledge and specs, sales tickets, and procurement along with the sales tactics and financial analysis tools you will need to succeed. As you gain knowledge you will progress to handling small accounts and responsibilities will increase. These accounts will need to be handled 100% by you.
This position requires availability to work some weekends and you must be available when not in the office.
The right candidate will:
- Have an excellent work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enjoy interaction by phone, face to face as well as electronically.
- Have basic computers skills (Excel, Word and Power Point).
- Have a working knowledge of Produce. This is a plus but not a must.
