Job Description: 

We are an avocado grower, packer, importer and distributor around the USA and Canada with a year
round supply.

  • Looking for an experienced FOB salesperson to join dynamic sales team

The primary role of this position is to maintain the day to day Avocado sales for retail, foodservice, and wholesale accounts.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • FOB produce sales account management
  • Sales account management and delivered sales
  • Participate in sales & business planning for marketing and sales teams
  • Target new business opportunities
  • Communicate with warehouse department to ensure high level of service and product integrity
  • Maintain consistent communication with all customers to keep them informed of availability of product, market prices and quality
  • New business development, ability to call and source new customer leads
  • Ability to participate in trade shows and to uphold company integrity
  • Manage available inventory, market prices, quality and sales decisions
  • Participate in planning and implementation of sales programs and promotions
  • Analyze sales performance and create process improvement
  • Set and meet individual sales goals and work toward company wide team goals
  • Target new market opportunities to explore
  • Communicate daily with sales team in sales efforts and transactions
  • Continue communication in order to effectively communicate sales needs, customer feedback and customer trends and changes.
