As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for actively and aggressively developing new business as well as maintaining and growing our current accounts. This is a full-time position, and you must be able to work on occasional weekends.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our team in Fresno, CA.
Western Fresh Marketing opened in 1994, to represent growers of fancy imported and domestic fruits. Over the years we have added more produce delicacies, and we market this unique produce to retailers and wholesalers throughout the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling produce.
- Create new sales opportunities and support existing customers.
- Visit customers to evaluate needs and promote products or services.
- Assist customers in selecting solutions based on their needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain customer records.
- Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
- Attendance -punctual –consistently at work and on time.
- Dependably –follows instructions responds well to direction.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in the produce industry.
- Knowledge of Famous Software is useful.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent phone skills and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to be proactive in a fast-paced sales environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure is a must
- A strong work ethic, team player attitude, punctuality, and job dedication
- Desire to grow with the company and bring focus, flexibility and passion to the position
- Must be proficient with itrade
Compensation:

Operation Hours:
- 7am to 4pm Monday thru Friday and occasional Saturday’s 7:30am to 10:30am.
