Zan Fruits, LLC is an Export Broker located in Bakersfield, CA. We export produce mainly from the Western US into Mexico, with seasonal operations on the East Coast and Canada. Our main line of items include: Apples, Pears, Stone Fruit, Grapes and Specialties. We are searching for an Export Buyer Assistant in Bakersfield, CA.
As an Export Buyer Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our export department complete day-to-day tasks, including importing and tracking orders, insuring accurate delivery time, customer service, etc.

Requirements:
- Associate Degree
- Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge in export/import procedures (USA/Mexico) a plus
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Create purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices in QuickBooks
- Create cost sheets
- Update excel databases
- Follow-up on orders placed
- Proofing of export documents
- Answering phone and emails
- Calling customers and vendors
- Scheduling appointments
- Internet research related to the produce industry
- Accounts payable tracking
- Special projects assigned by the manager
