Account Manager

Job Description: 

Yerecic Label, a growing label printing company serving North America has an immediate need for an Account Manager in the Northern California Area.  This position will be responsible for business development at regional grocery retailers and food manufacturers with heavy focus on opening new accounts as well as building revenue within established accounts.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar course of study required
  • Minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience required
  • Up to 40% Overnight Travel
  • Experience in selling to perishable industries a plus
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman conceptual and strategic selling a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics a plus

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Identify new account prospects and follow up on new leads and referrals. Maintain frequent contact with all accounts with the goal of maximizing face to face visits
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Establishes rapport and maintains contact with current clients and potential clients.
  • Work with Yerecic team members to initiate customer design/project requests, develop product specifications and pricing, and oversee follow through and execution.
  • Develop and supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs; prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences and meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain, on a timely basis, a variety of status reports
Skills: 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge of printing procedures and requirements or the ability to rapidly grasp the underlying fundamentals of label production
  • Ability to identify and effectively present product lines that help clients meet strategic goals
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials; Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to independently analyze and solve problems or recommend solutions
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with an average or above average risk rating for auto insurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to make cold calls and build relationships
  • Ability to travel with little advance notice; No aversion to airline travel; Willingness to schedule travel independently using internet travel sites and within corporate travel policies
