Job Description:
Worldwide Produce, one of the largest and most successful produce suppliers in southern California, is seeking to fill a Sales Representative position in our San Diego, CA. location. The Sales Rep will pursue all sales leads within the Company’s market area, provided that the company is not presently doing business with the account.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Must be knowledgeable about all products Worldwide distributes, and be aware of their customer's product uses and needs.
- Must have knowledge in produce, dairy, liquid dairy, specialty produce, general produce, assorted frozen grocery items, specialty cheeses.
- Must complete and turn in a Customer Profile Form for each potential customer to the Sales Department, and the customer's credit application to the Accounting Department.
- Must attend a semi-monthly sales meeting and be available, on a best efforts basis, as the company requires, either at the corporate offices or in the field.
Skills:
- Required Computer Skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Produce Pro
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable
