Currently, Western Precooling is recruiting for a Cooler Supervisor to manage the swing shift operations of our produce cold storage warehouse in Watsonville, CA. This is a 10 month a year position, from approximately March to January.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in supervising a cold storage warehouse, which includes receiving product, storage and customer pick up.
- 3-5 years’ QA experience with fresh produce (strawberries a plus).
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, vendors, and peers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to carry out defined procedures with specific instructions and ability to learn new duties with minimal repetition.
- Ability to use warehouse management programs, such as Famous or AS400 a plus.
