Responsibilities & Duties:
Daily responsibilities include:
- Handling incoming sales calls from current customers and sales prospects
- Building relationships over the phone
- Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
- Taking it upon yourself to make cold calls and set appointments for outside sales people
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
- Additionally, stay current on all the latest information and trends in produce and grocery industries
- Review and adjust pricing levels as needed
- Maintain and develop working relationship with the team
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven success managing accounts
- Detail oriented and organized
- Aggressive, competitive and committed
- Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
- Effective time management skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Experience:
- Prior produce sales experience highly desirable
- Proven success in account management
