We are currently searching for an energetic and experienced Sales Support Specialist.
As the Sales Support Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating information on production levels and quality from the Grower Partners to Sales, Marketing and Logistics, in an accurate and timely manner. You will maintain in-depth knowledge of Village Farms’ packing specifications and grade standards to ensure that Grower Partners adhere to the requirements at all times. Your duties may be combined with local sales for targeting and opening new accounts.

- Previous experience with Hydroponics Pack house Operations required.
- Previous experience with forecasting and Quality Control required.
- Experience in Sales and Logistics are preferred.
- Observe/Support partner packing facilities to ensure that VF quality, grade standards and food safety programs are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.
- Manage information flow with regard to daily quality, short-term and long-term forecasting, pack requests and shipping between contracted packing facilities and VF Sales/GRSD Management; assist in shipment coordination.
- Assist in improving efficiencies - to include monitoring of packing materials at Grower Partner facilities.
- Assist with Local/Regional Sales initiatives – Eastern Canada.
- Compile reports as requested by GRSD management.
- Provide daily guidance in procurement of required packaging materials at Partner Packing facilitates.
- Assist in coordination with QA/QC on all quality issues and recommend, implement and follow through on corrective actions.
- Act as liaison between other Grower Partners and GRSD management.
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent required.
