Job Description: 
 Triple H is an American grower-shipper with strong Mexican roots that specializes in Roma tomatoes, Bell Peppers and Chili Peppers. We also market Cucumbers, Squash, Mangoes, Onions and other items from across Mexico. With producers in Mexico, Chile and Argentina and with years of experience, this family-owned company markets fresh products grown by an extensive network of Associates.
 

We have an exciting new opportunity for an energetic and motivated Sales Representative in our McAllen, TX location. We are looking for an enthusiastic produce sales professional who will dive on in and focus on new business development, while maintaining professional relationships with existing clientele.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Identifies new sales opportunities though lead generation, cold calling and prospecting.
  • Seek out and develop new customers.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Achieve budgeted sales, volume objectives and average sales price by product. Ultimately, contribute to company profitability.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers.
  • Identify and analyze local and national market dynamics and pursue new opportunities.
  • Solve problems quickly by minimizing potential losses and/or maximizing profit possibilities.
  • Provide professional customer service, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow.
  • Travels to customer locations as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Skills: 
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office and general computer skills.
Qualifications: 
  • 1 - 3 years of sales experience in the fresh produce industry.
  • Experience and network in retail.
  • Must have a good understanding of produce distribution channels.
  • Highly motivated to succeed and a desire to increase profitability for the business.
  • Current book of onion customers and industry relationships.
  • Proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in the early morning and work until job is complete.
