At TransWorld Food Service we deliver a full line of food service items including quality produce, dairy, meats, seafood and provisions to restaurants and other establishments in the Atlanta area. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Atlanta, GA. 

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for actively and aggressively developing new business as well as maintaining and growing current accounts. You will be responsible for establishing long term working relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service. 

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal driven, and a truly passionate salesperson. This opportunity is a great fit for a salesperson who would like to bring his/her current client base over to a new highly dedicated and rewarding partnership.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 5 years Chef, produce or food service experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships that are critical for success.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work.
  • Demonstrates passion and determination to work hard and meet or exceed goals.
  • Ability to analyze complex and changing market factors, evaluate alternative sales practices, and recommend or implement effective courses of action.
  • Knowledge of food industry guidelines and regulations.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key customers.
  • Understanding of the fresh produce supply-chain; annual supply/pricing dynamics, business operations, sales contract negotiation, distribution logistics, quality management and claims processing.
  • Good computer skills.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Assertive in seeking new customers and growing sales revenue.
  • Dynamic in targeting new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Proactively and professionally handle day to day sales.
  • Manage customer satisfaction by handling customer requests and complaints.
  • Responsible for working closely with our President and sales team to carry out the overall sales plan.
  • Participate in the weekly sales meetings.
  • Ensure great customer service.
  • Identify and monitor competitors and evaluate market conditions and product development opportunities.
  • Proficiently enter orders and set up new customer and prospect item lists.
  • Perform weekly/monthly reporting to support the business needs.
  • Professionally represents our company and our core values.
