Tom Lange Company is seeking an ambitious, professional, driven sales person with excellent communication skills for an Account Manager position in its Indianapolis office. We strongly prefer candidates with prior produce sales experience, and a transferable book of business.
Our Account Managers procure, sell and arrange for transportation of fresh produce. They also provide exceptional customer service to our supply-chain partners. Account Manager compensation includes a base draw and commissions. Highly-successful employees can earn substantial commissions early in their careers.

- Strongly prefer experience in the produce industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Some background in sales, preferably commissioned sales
- Excitement about building and maintaining relationships with customers, shippers and carriers
- General computer skills – proficiency with MS Office is necessary
We are particularly interested in applicants with:
- Produce distribution and/or wholesale experience
- Some college or other post-secondary education is preferred, especially with courses in communications, business, logistics and/or marketing
- The position may require some local travel to meet suppliers and customers.
