Job Description:
The Sales Representative will be a motivated self-starter based out of our Dallas, TX facility. The qualified individual will be an enthusiastic and outgoing individual with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of fresh cut produce and/or manufacturing is a plus. Up to 10% travel may be expected depending on operational needs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or pertinent field is preferred.
- Must possess strong organizational and planning skills.
- Will have excellent oral and written communication skills; as well as a superior attention to detail.
- This position requires a dependable and reliable work ethic with strong interpersonal skills.
- Texas Driver’s license is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for the growth and maintenance of key accounts.
- Work with Sales Management team to target new business opportunities.
- Enters orders and answers customer inquiries.
- Attend trade shows and conferences as required.
- Communicates with production, shipping and procurement teams to provide superior customer service to our account base.
- Utilizes team building and communication skills to create strong department and company- wide relationships.
- Expert proficiency in company systems (Axapta, Halo, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Will be an intricate player in the continued growth and development of our division’s profitable product offerings.
- Constantly strives to develop skills-set necessary to meet departmental and company goals.
- Represents Taylor Farms Texas, Inc. in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.
- Analyzes customer product mix to maintain and achieve maximum profits.
- Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.
