We are seeking an experienced self-motivated Sales Executive to join our team in our Headquarters in Pasadena, CA.  As a Sales Executive you would be responsible for developing, maintaining, and building positive customer relationships to achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration, and growth of Sun Pacific.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal driven, and truly passionate salesperson who enjoys working with produce and the entire sales process. You will have the ability to analyze complex and changing market factors, evaluate alternative sales practices, and recommend or implement effective courses of action. 

Position Reports to: 
The Sales Executive will have direct-line accountability to the Sales Manager with a dotted-line relationship with the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Responsible for entire sales process from first contact to close.
  • Make effective presentations of profitable programs to potential and existing customers.
  • Foster relationships with customers that drive sales for the company.
  • Train, develop and manage your sales assistant to be proficient in all sales support functions.
  • Allocate, delegate and manage designated sales assistant’s work load.
  • Notify and assist buyers, operations and sales support persons by communication of customer's needs and preferences.
  • Communicate daily with customers regarding current and future market conditions.
  • Conduct weekly review of established sales goals for the season with Sales Manager.
  • Attend all sales meetings and appointments punctually.
  • Develop value-added sales proposals with the Sales Manager and present during customer visits.
Qualifications: 
  • Must possess the skill sets that “close the deal”, e.g. engaging personality, tenacity, appropriate assertiveness, detail orientation, personable.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in produce sales.
  • Bachelor or associate degree preferred.  High School diploma or a GED equivalent from a certified school required.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage accounts effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Quick and accurate with paperwork, figures, attentive to detail, and have good follow-through.
  • Organizational skills, ability to work independently, promote, sell and secure new business.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal human relations and teaming skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the inventory monitoring system and control database applications.
  • Able to operate a PC.  Knowledgeable in Excel and Word.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
