Supply Chain Manager

Job Description: 

We are looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to our team! 

Compensation/Salary:

Requirements: 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or other related technical field; 5 to 6 years of global supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership of a professional purchasing staff
  • APICS certification
  • Oracle, Discoverer, and EeTime capabilities.
  • Strong Microsoft office knowledge; Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and daily management of MRP
  • Exceptional customer service, quality, on time delivery, cost reduction and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of efficiency improvements, quality improvements and project management
  • Strong leadership and strong interpersonal skills to build and lead highly effective teams
  • Demonstrated ability for innovative/creative thinking
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
  • Be flexible, able and willing to modify activities and direction with an ever-changing business environment
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Direct, supervise, mentor and develop staff to deliver operational results that meet and exceed planned expectations 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership through training and coaching to drive excellence and a best workplace
  • Develop and implement strategies and goals to include on time material delivery, maintain accurate product and material lead-times and drive suppliers to minimize them, maximizing inventory turns, minimizing Excess & Obsolete, maximize PPV
  • Manage deliveries to customers to ensure customer on time delivery
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement in supply chain including internal material flow processes and systems
  • Reduce and manage logistics costs to include inbound freight, outbound freight and intercompany logistics
  • Expedite material as necessary
  • Plan, direct and coordinate commodity and materials management activities
  • Responsible for developing measurement metrics, including customer satisfaction, material metrics, asset management, inventory turns, PPV, cost reductions, supplier quality and supplier development
  • Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed 
  • Establish successful relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels and to identify potential new business opportunities
