Responsibilities & Duties: 

Responsible for accurate communication, print out orders, attach paperwork and deliver any information to the Selectors, able to do multiple tasks, other warehouse essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Fills information correctly on completes pick tickets or revised tickets.
  • Timely interdepartmental communication in shipping related issues.
  • Call drivers to assign door.
  • Cover the shipping Podium as needed it.
  • Deliver revised ticket to Selectors in a timely fashion manner.
  • Must be able to operate different types of equipment such as electric pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.
  • Reports questionable product quality to Supervisor.
  • Load trucks in a safe and timely manner as needed it.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follows strict adherence to GMP’s, HACCP and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Treat and maintain company assets with sense of ownership.
  • Participate in maintenance of equipment and facility.
  • Help Selectors to stack, wrap or break down product as needed it.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
Education: 
  • High school diploma or GED
Qualifications: 
  • Computer literate (Email, Microsoft Windows, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Current forklift certificate.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lb. to shoulder height and above.
  • Ability to take direction and  work as a team
  • Offers contingent upon the passing of a fitness evaluation, physical/drug screen and background investigation.
  • “Shift” flexibility
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 34 – 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Good verbal ( Bi-lingual ) English and Spanish
