Previous sales experience in food, preferably produce and big-box retail required. We have a high energy, hands on, entrepreneurial work environment with a small, but focused team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years in a CPG food distribution company, preferably in produce
- Produce channel sales experience a BIG plus
- MUST have multi-channel experience AND BIG retail experience with large national grocery and mass customers
- Walmart experience a BIG plus
- Big-box retail and club account experience
- MUST have pioneered and launched new lines with a proven track record of success

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Serve as the chief sales leader of the company
- Develop annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
- Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
- Develop new product rollout plans
- Create data driven presentations for key accounts
- Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of Product
- Guide management of trade promotions expenditures to support sales objective within budgets
- Recommend new product introductions based on market research and competitor analysis
- Implement approved distribution strategies
- Manage multiple channel selling strategies in produce/grocery, drug, MASS, Convenience, Natural and other key channels
- Build, develop and manage broker team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
