The Inside Sales Specialist must be a responsible, enthusiastic, self-starter with a strong specialty food and produce sales background, in-depth understanding of restaurant kitchen operations and menu creation. A true passion for learning our produce and specialty products and sharing information to make connections to the customers.
- Implement sales strategies by speaking to some of the best chef's and retailers in the world.
- Practice sound judgment and discretion with company's best interest always in mind.

Monitor all responses and communications from established customer base.
- Provide beginning to end customer support; from order creation, delivery, and payment
- Foster a sense of teamwork and employ creativity to create menus to exceed customer expectations.
- The drive and commitment to stay current with food trends and seasonal items.
- Associate's degree or higher in culinary, agriculture, or marketing preferred
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience:
- Current or previous chef's are strongly encouraged to apply
- Food service / retail, produce, catering, culinary or restaurant experience required
- Professional Phone etiquette and effective email communication required
- 3 + years of sales experience required
- Quality produce and food safety standards including HACCP
