Account Coordinator - Food Safety

Job Description:

SCS Global Services is looking for a part-time Account Coordinator to support our Food Safety client programs: Global G.A.P., Tesco, PrimusGFS, GMP, GAP. The Account Coordinator works closely with the Food Safety Client Manager, auditors, and clients.

There is opportunity to move into a full-time position and take on more technical responsibility as the program continues to grow.

Requirements: 
  • 1+ year’s customer service or work experience in a client facing position
  • 1+ years’ experience in an administrative or data entry role
  • High School diploma required; Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture, Food Science or related field preferred, but not required
  • Strong customer service and teamwork orientated
  • The ability to do complex formatting in Word
  • Complete fluency in English and Spanish with work experience that involves professional written communication
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment
  • Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using a CRM preferred
  • A passion for sustainability is required

Responsibilities & Duties: 

The primary focus is to support the Food Safety Department’s Client Services Team.

Client Support

  • Respond to client inquiries or direct clients to the appropriate contact
  • Update client paperwork and agreements as needed
  • Format client reports
  • Assist with client renewals
  • Prepare work orders, prepare renewal emails
  • Invoice customers

Record Maintenance

  • Maintain complete client records, faxes, and forms in the company’s data management systems (DMS, CRM, on the server, and in files as needed)
  • Data entry into 2nd and 3rd party online databases
  • Ensure that all required documentation is complete
  • Other duties as necessary
