Vice President of Sales

Job Description: 

The Wysocki Family of Companies headquartered in Bancroft, WI is a rapidly growing agricultural production, packaging, marketing and sales organization, employing 250 people in 8 states with $250 million in sales nationwide. RPE, Inc. is the marketing and sales operation of WFC and is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead their sales organization. This position will direct a team of 15+ sales professionals in a highly engaging corporate culture to increase revenues and profits by developing and maintaining relationships with key national accounts. Ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader and vibrant communicator with extensive sales experience in the produce industry.

Requirements: 
  • Five to seven years of experience in produce sales; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Deep understanding and passion for the sales to market process
  • Enthusiasm to mentor and share knowledge with the sales team
  • Ability and eagerness to work with people across the employment and industry spectrum;  ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, management and external vendors and/or contractors
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of time to further key relationships
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Actively participate in the development of the strategic sales plan and corresponding budget with a comprehensive understanding of market opportunities, company operational capabilities, industry trends and the overall strategic plan of the company
  • Review primary account activities with each sales person monthly; provide upper level customer push on downstream promotional offerings where needed
  • Provide sales reports to senior management that include sales activities, pipelines and forecasts 
  • Develop and maintain clear, consistent communication between customers, suppliers, and sales staff to deliver a high level of customer service and responsiveness   
  • Work with Director of Business Development to implement strategies for expanding customer base 
  • Actively engage in client negotiations and sales efforts with key prospects and clients 
  • Create and deliver innovative and engaging sales training programs for the sales team
