Job Description:
We are a grower/shipper/packer/exporter/importer of fresh produce with a position open located in Michigan. We are proud to represent growers throughout Michigan and market approximately 1/3 of Michigan’s fresh crop every year.
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative who is motivated to help us achieve goals and objectives. We are looking for a long term person to grow with us.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Position would include daily domestic sales to retail, wholesale and foodservice accounts, along with prospecting and developing new customers.
- Working with inventory and pack schedule programs would also be entailed in the position.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of three years’ experience in produce sales.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a team player, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Spanish communication would be a plus in the position.
