Riveridge Produce Marketing, Inc., is a 25 year old vertically integrated grower, shipper, and packer seeking a Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing the sales team with support and coordination.
This position requires a hands-on approach and close-collaboration with the sales, warehouse and transportation departments. You must possess excellent communication skills and be highly organized, as you will be responsible for working and communicating across different departments. You will need to take initiative and have excellent follow through skills.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• General sales team support
• Assist in EDI order-management
• Data Entry
• Export order support
• Data Analysis
• Clerical duties
• Rotating after-hours support (phone and email)
• Trade show support
• Perform additional duties assigned by management
Requirements:
• Computer proficiency and MS office applications
• Analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and problem solve
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong inter-personal skills and phone etiquette
• High energy and desire to succeed
• Extended hours at times
• Willingness to learn
Education:
• Associates degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
