We are looking for someone with experience in the logistics field to join our team as a Transportation and Logistics Agent.  In this role, you will be expected to wear several different hats such as sales and dispatch. You also need the drive and entrepreneurial skills to help take us and you to the next level of your career.  

We pay the right candidates a competitive salary to start as you make the transition to becoming your own boss!  In addition, we have a very competitive commission and/or bonus system.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Responsible for coordination of shipments within North America but not limited to, from the US to Canada
  • Generating leads and converting accounts through existing business, cold calling and networking activities.
  • Develop and manage your specific region using your proven track record
  • Have a great deal of initiative
  • Use your book of business to bring customers and carriers to Rally
  • Build relationships with new customers through your extraordinary communication skills
  • Generate a contact base of carriers
  • Solidifying and creating partnerships with Carrier suppliers
  • Providing quotes and responding to RFPs and RFQs for a new or current client base
  • Manage new and existing corporate accounts
  • Expertly negotiate rates between customers and carriers
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Able to deal with dispatch of shipping and receiving
  • Help the development of business through inside sales
  • Responsible for meeting gross profit target

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of two years freight operations or dispatch
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, Load Link and freight management systems
  • College / University or equivalent working experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, organized, motivated and driven to achieve organizational objectives
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client and carrier relationships
  • Brings honesty and integrity to each transaction
  • Have a sharp attention to detail while handling multiple tasks as well as strong negotiating skills
