We are looking for a highly-detailed and organized Inventory and Grower Services Specialist who can think on their feet in our busy office in Fresno, CA.

As an Inventory and Grower Services Specialist you will bridge the gaps between the sales, operations and grower relations departments. You are responsible for ensuring that all communications between these departments are communicated clearly and in a timely manner. You will help build relationships with our partners and utilize these relationships when planning and forecasting future inventory needs.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an office, administrative and/or sales setting in the produce industry.
  • Strong customer focus with professional demeanor.
  • Self-motivated and multi-task focused.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under pressure while remaining flexible.
  • High level of customer service focus for both internal and external customers.
  • Able to set priorities and meet deadlines while accomplishing team objectives.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to resolve issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong computer skills, including Internet, MS Outlook, Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus; competent to learn and adapt to new computer applications, system upgrades and other technology, as necessary.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with management and team members to resolve problems and issues.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Track all products from the time they leave our fields to the time they arrive to our customers; make sure that the quantity received matches order number and that products meet quality standards.
  • Ensure that we have all the materials needed for packaging and labeling.
  • Keep track of inventory and product quality as it is prepared for packing and readied for shipping.
  • Report findings to internal departments and growers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and growers on forecasting and planning.
  • Participate in inventory meetings with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain staff; work with Sales in inventory exit strategy and follow through.
  • Provide timely responses to grower questions and offer solutions to handle problems.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager and Grower Settlement staff to ensure timely grower payments.
  • Manage supplier relationships periodically through regular communications and supplier visits.
  • Ensure that suppliers clearly understand expectations and meet agreed-upon volume, logistics scheduling and quality.
  • Help ensure that new grower approval and new/repeating deal compliance requirements are completed prior to the beginning of all business transactions.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
