At Douglas Fruit, apples are our specialty.
At Douglas Fruit, we package conventional apples year-round, starting in August and ending in July. In the summer months, from June through September, we pack stone fruit including apricots, peaches, and nectarines. Most of our fruit varieties are available in both organic and conventional.
We now have an immediate opening for a Production Manager to join our team in Pasco, WA.
The production manager organizes, directs, and coordinates the production activities to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies
and applicable laws.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a production environment dealing with fresh produce.
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
