Job Description:
This position directs all activities in the facility necessary to operate and support the produce warehouse at maximum efficiency. The Warehouse Operations Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and physical functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading/unloading of perishable deliveries that pass through the warehouse. This position will ensure that the warehouse is operating to enhance service, with a focus on accuracy, quality, safety and continuous Improvement.

Requirements:
- Work in refrigerated warehouse with temperatures ranging from 36 to 56 degrees fahrenheit.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching might be required.
- Ability to lift up 50 Lbs.
- Operate hand truck, manual and electric pallet jack and forklift.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Day to day operations to ensure policies and procedures are complete.
- Full on shipping and standards.
- Full on product integrity standards and inventory.
- Assists with Food Safety and Security standards of the business.
- Works with sales to manage new business.
- Works with accounting to ensure proper reporting.
- Manages facility organization and cleanliness.
- Creates and maintains a positive working climate to promote employee morale and productivity.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Five years of perishable warehouse experience a must.
- Possession of valid Drivers License.
- Forklift certified preferred.
- Strong familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and adherence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and operations best practices.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.

- Versatility and flexibility to work within a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as a strong team member.
- Good judgment in making timely and sound decisions.
