We are rapidly growing and we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager with a background in produce to help sustain the momentum.
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you are responsible for directing all activities in the warehouse necessary to operate and support the warehouse at maximum efficiency. You will perform a variety of management, administrative, as well as physical functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading and unloading of commodities that transit the warehouse. You will also collaborate in working with the team and staff to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and controls are maintained within the warehouse and subject to continuous improvement.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of operations /Operations Management experience
- Must have produce industry experience
- General knowledge of modern warehouse & inventory practices
- Ability to plan & supervise the work of others
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with associates, customers, and vendors
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & aptitude to learn new software applications
