The National Account Manager will manage all activities related to sales execution and relationship building with Wal-Mart, in Bentonville, AR. This entails managing the execution of our growth strategy and exceeding sales objectives while continuing to build both horizontal and vertical relationships across various Walmart teams. This opportunity comes at a time of tremendous company growth and is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is driven, self-motivated, strategic and constantly thinking of creative ideas.

Position Reports to: 
Director of Strategic Business Development
Responsibilities & Duties: 

Walmart Business Development:

  • Lead daily activities at the Walmart Home Office with merchants and leadership to exceed business performance KPI’s.
  • Nurture and develop relationships, both vertically and horizontally, to support continued business growth.
  • Assist in monitoring and directing the implementation of Walmart business plans.
  • Assist with developing best in class tools to assist Walmart merchant teams with product forecasting and planning.
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic initiatives to grow overall business and share.

Walmart Relationship Management:

  • Foster and grow relationships through current and new business contacts.
  • Have regular, bi-weekly to weekly presence at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville.
  • Establish a strategic and diverse base of contacts that supports current and future growth initiatives.
  • Provide best in class support when responding to requests.
  • Facilitate creative, innovative ideas that provide equity to Walmart and support market corporate vision and objectives.    
Requirements: 
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A progressive job history with at least 7 years of professional experience, and at least 4 in a similar role. Demonstrated excellent sales skills, with a proven track record calling on national accounts, previous Walmart experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups of executives
  • Creative, with strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a customer oriented mindset
