We are currently looking for Cooler Quality Control Specialist in Salinas, CA.
As a Cooler Quality Control Specialist you are responsible for reporting and documenting the quality of our packaging products in our cooling systems.
This position will be based out of Salinas, CA and will relocate for 4 months (November – March) to Yuma, AZ.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Acceptable driving record
- Intermediate computer skills
- Quality control experience in the produce industry
- Knowledge of produce inventory management
- Working knowledge of Food Safety programs and requirements
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Work independently, as well as within a team, strong interpersonal skills
- At least 1 year of experience preferred
- Conduct cooler food safety inspections, audits, and testing
- Reporting quality and inspection results in a clear and concise manner
- Communicate report results with operations and sales
- Ensure that food safety procedures are being followed
- Perform related duties as needed by management
The ideal individual can work independently as well as within a team, knows how to communicate effectively, and has a strong attention to detail. They have hands-on experience in quality control and quality assurance, estimates, and inventory. They also have a general knowledge of fresh produce industry and aids in meeting the highest product quality and food safety standards for our customers.
