Job Description: 

A&A Organic Farms, Corp. a Watsonville, CA based organic grower sales agent and broker of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. We market and represent organic farms produce from locally and beyond, selling their produce at a sustainable price for their hard work.

The Produce Sales Representative is responsible, goal oriented, highly motivated individual who is organized, self-disciplined and confident in seeking to beat sales quotas and earn top dollar.

Compensation/Salary:

Requirements: 
  • Have a track record of meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in organic agricultural sales and marketing; bringing your own customer base, with an expectation to seek out new customers.
  • Be proficient with PC computers, with experience in working with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word. (Experience in Shippers Office Ag accounting program is a plus.)
  • Maintain excellent phone skills, with a fun, professional attitude to build customer relationships for a loyal following.
  • Be efficient in paper work with close attention to detail.
  • A knowledge of basic math skills required.
  • Be a passionate individual who is dedicated and devoted to learn and enjoy every aspect in this industry.
  • Requires occasional travel to visit customers and work at industry trade shows.
  • Always demonstrate and model a high degree of honesty, integrity and personal character.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Office hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm with some on call duty required.

Some Saturday work required in peak season as necessary.  

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manage and sell perishable inventory from our warehouse locations in 4 regions.
  • Meet and exceed sales quota.
  • Broker Sales: identify opportunities with growers outside our network and connect to A&A customers.
  • Maintain and develop customer relations on a daily basis, be prepared to grow the business!
  • Manage a dynamic set of customer needs in a fast paced environment, overseeing product orders from loading to receiving.
  • Maintain expectations with respect to gross profit, margin and monthly sales quotas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of honesty and integrity.
