We’re looking for a passionate team player to join our team as a Customer Solutions Specialist in San Antonio, TX.

As a Customer Solutions Specialist you will be working in our logistics department. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all customer requests, complaints and orders are processed and addressed. You will process and manage customer orders by inputting orders and logistics, ensuring that all orders reach their destinations in a timely manner. You will also resolve customer complaints while providing excellent customer service. You are also responsible for tracking inventory levels and helping to create sales forecasts based on sales and inventory levels along with creating improvements in our processes.

The ideal candidate will have produce industry experience managing inventories, taking orders, handling logistics, and fulfillment of orders. You will be highly organized with an eye for detail and the ability to work on multiple things at once.

Requirements: 
  • College degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of inventory management experience
  • 2-3 years of direct sales and/or customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of Retailer Vendor Managed Inventory and/or Point of Sale analysis experience desired
  • Experience in produce, food, or other short shelf life or rapid paced inventory; Retail or CPG experience is also desirable
  • Requires knowledge and navigation of customer portals
  • Advanced negotiation and problem solving skills are required
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Perform analysis of Customer Demand through retailer portal or Vendor Managed Inventory process
  • Enter customer orders into order management system
  • Confirm pricing condition and prepare customer invoices for assigned DC locations
  • Manage inventory against actual sales versus forecast sales for assigned Distribution Centers
  • Support the sale of new products and collaborate with customers to execute Promotions
  • Track service levels to customer and address service exceptions
  • Establish and maintain pro-active relationships with customers
  • Proficient knowledge of Master Data requirements (UPC, stock number, UOM, etc.)
