Nature’s Produce strongly believes in taking care of our Earth and its natural resources. As one of the largest direct receivers of fresh produce in Southern California, we distribute the finest products that Mother Nature has to offer. Our full line produce spectrum is sourced from the finest farmers and growing regions for each commodity throughout the year with a focus on supporting local growers. We also provide a full line of dairy and a continuously expanding line of dried goods.

We are currently seeking a Produce Sales Representative in Vernon, CA to join our sales team. As the Sales Representative you will be responsible for establishing long term working relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service. The Sales Representative should be goal orientated, organized, and highly motivated.

Requirements: 
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in agricultural sales and marketing.
  • Have a track record of meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Be proficient with PC computers, with experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A knowledge of basic math skills required.
  • Be a passionate individual who is dedicated and devoted to learn and enjoy every aspect in this industry.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Proactively create opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers.
  • Provide sales support and superior customer service to existing customers, while also acquiring new clientele.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers.
  • Manage a dynamic set of customer needs in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain expectations with respect to gross profit, margin and monthly sales quotas.
  • Answer phones and handle calls with a professional demeanor.
  • Handle customer service situations with calm and professionalism.
  • Maintain and develop working relationships with the team.
