We are currently looking for a Facility Controller to join our team in Royal Oaks, CA.

The Facility Controller is responsible for by providing Facility and Corporate management with timely, accurate financial and operating information. You are also responsible for all financial systems and controls at the facility.

Requirements: 
  • Four (4) year accounting degree, CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years accounting experience, with supervisory experience.
  • Experience in agriculture or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Extremely detailed oriented, and organized.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic team.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task; working within a dynamic, fast-moving environment, while driving toward clearly defined goals and solutions.
  • Proven team builder.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Lead and develop the Accounting team.
  • Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recordings of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments.
  • Facilitate through the Accounting team the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursements, Payroll, Fixed Assets, inventory integrity, general & entity accounting, Invoicing/billing, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting and Operations.
  • Maintain the general ledger, review the monthly close and account reconciliations.
  • Issue monthly financial statements and review variances with Management.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts and participate in quarterly reviews.
  • Develop and monitor the annual profit plan and participate in the year-end audit.
  • Maintain a strong focus in operations, identifying cost saving opportunities, process improvement and automation. j
  • Participate in future JDE implementations and development of reports needed to run the business.
  • Work with Corporate Finance and Accounting.
