We are currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor in our Royal Oaks, CA location.
As the Accounting Supervisor you will be responsible for timely and accurate monthly general ledger closings, reconciliations and financial reporting. You will also participate in performing ad hoc analysis as directed by the Facility Controller.
- 4 + years’ experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Ability to produce accurate and timely reports and documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work flow
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team and interact with Management
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Access
- JDE experience is a plus
- Excellent Attendance
- Responsible for monthly GL closing, maintenance, variance analysis and financial reporting
- Reconciliation of GL balance sheet accounts and ability to analyze account fluctuations
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily management reports
- Maintain Fixed Assets and Capital project report
- Oversee & perform duties to back up and support other accounting functions (Accounts Payable and Payroll)
- Responsible for forecasting, year-end audit and budgeting
- Participate in the implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures
- Ad hoc analysis for 3 Western Region locations
