Job Description:
The International Sourcing Manager will develop company sourcing mission and strategy for the international market. This position will analyze market data to understand industry competition in multiple source origins at any given time. Analyze spend data, supplier information, and other details for our commodity. Contribute to the development of our international sourcing vision and grower/supplier relationship management activities. This position will primarily focus on sourcing activities from Mexico.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of prior work experience in Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain Management focused around harvest or procurement, preferably in a perishable industry and a minimum of 3 years’ supervisory background
- Strong written and verbal skills in English and Spanish
- Frequent travel to Mexico based on business need
- Ability to deal with changing objectives, deadlines, and priorities beyond one’s control
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Advanced ability to use and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications to analyze and troubleshoot sourcing/inventory discrepancies, develop and use spreadsheets, statistical analysis and trends (Microsoft Suite, SQL, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Proven leadership to be able to identify areas and make recommendations for improvements on various processes and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in team situations requiring ability to develop and implement competitive initiatives across departments
- Financial acumen a plus
- Ability to train and improve the skill level of internal and external users of the system as needed
- Strong ability to be hands-on, work independently, and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent ability to analyze data timely, efficiently, effectively and multi-task projects/assignments simultaneously
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Identify growers who can deliver quality and timely products while insuring multiple sources for key products
- Evaluate agreements/partnerships and establish local or regional supply as needed
- Evaluate and review factories, produce, and supplies throughout the world
- Negotiate and enforce agreements with suppliers and growers
- Establish cross-functional Sourcing Effectiveness Team (SET) activities
- Develop and administer inventory management strategies, policies and practices that assure protection of corporate inventory assets and the integrity of corporate inventory records
- Support appropriate relationships with suppliers to maximize value to the business
- Consistently evaluate the regions for produce supply internationally with idea to provide best in service and quality
