Hot Kitchen Production Manager

Job Description: 

We are seeking to hire a Hot Kitchen Production Manager in Portland, OR!

As a Hot Kitchen Production Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that production and quality standards are being met with each product.

Requirements: 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisor position.
  • 2 years of experience in food production, with an emphasis on traditional cooking fundamentals.
  • Must have experience using commercial kitchen equipment and monitoring quality.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and USDA guidelines is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer required. 
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manages and directs Kitchen production employees to ensure production is running efficiently, safely and meeting production standards and quality.
  • Prepares and conducts meetings to communicate training needs, issues, GMP’s, and food safety.
  • Forecasts labor needs, monitors labor costs and numbers along with scheduling of Kitchen employees.
  • Prepares and administers performance reviews and disciplinary action for Kitchen production employees.
  • Troubleshoots equipment and product issues and consults with maintenance/management to resolve.
