Maas Greenhouse is a Mexican based wholesaler-import/export company who is expanding its sales of tomatoes and peppers.
We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and savvy Sales Representative to join our team.
As the Sales Representative you will provide a high level of sales, service, and product knowledge to our customers. You will also help expand our sales by identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts, as well as maximizing gross margins.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal driven, and truly passionate salesperson who enjoys working with produce and the entire sales process from start to finish. They will have experience in selling produce to supermarket and retailer accounts along and possess a list of clients interested in our products.
- Must have 3 plus years of sales experience and in-depth produce industry knowledge preferably in tomatoes.
- Strong industry connections with a customer base interested in Tomatoes and peppers and/or other Mexican produce.
- Self-motivated with a strong business ethic.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve on the fly.
- Outstanding organization and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic self-starter that can hit the ground running.
- Excellent communications skills on the phone, email, and social media.
- Ability to speak Spanish it is a plus.
- Initiate sales with retailers and supermarkets.
- Create new opportunities for additional sales with new and established customers.
- Effective account management: maximizing sales margins, price and inventory management, volume forecasting.
- Program selling / contract sales / FOB sales.
- National retail program development.
- Sales planning and market forecasting.
