Retail Direct Sales Representatives

Job Description: 

We are currently seeking Retail Direct Representatives in 6 North Eastern US and Eastern US locations.

Purpose & Scope: 

  • To ensure fresh product inventory in stores, grow Litehouse sales with secondary display and in-stock conditions at all times, shelf tag/POS placement as well as enhance overall retail broker coverage to assigned customer areas.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Represent Litehouse to the Store Produce Managers in your coverage area, creating a personal relationship with each produce manager and District manager in your coverage area.
  • Learn your market; determine which customers and stores have the greatest impact on Litehouse business.
  • Follow routes and maps provided by Regional Sales Manager to efficiently cover designated coverage area.  Coverage frequency will be determined based on store volume, importance to Litehouse, Sales Growth potential, and stores willingness to partner with Litehouse to grow sales.
  • Maintain and gain Litehouse share of shelf or greater share of shelf.  This can be accomplished by pursuing opportunities to help stores wherever possible, including store resets and grand openings, to enhance business relationship. 
  • Ensure product rotation based on the Litehouse freshness standards.
  • IRC should be applied to all products dated less than 60 days before your next visit.  If there is more product than can be moved before code date, contact your manager.
  • When possible, work with the produce manager to gain optimum placement for all Litehouse products in the produce department.  This may require stocking product, placing POS (Point of Sale) material, and get extra facings and secondary display as available.
  • If necessary, clean (dust off) products and shelving. 
  • Schedule and perform demos and coupon handouts to be done in your most important stores and grand openings (minimum of twice monthly).
  • Attend demo training sessions and educate demo personnel on Litehouse products and uses to maximize promotional efforts.
  • Identify and help design promotional plan with Regional Sales Manager to move close-dated product. 
  • Expand Litehouse line by working with produce managers to test products and department placement.
  • Conduct and submit corporate retail audits.  Complete daily and weekly call reports.
  • Uphold Litehouse Values in the market place and contribute to the Team effort at Litehouse.

Minimum Qualifications Required to Perform Work:

  • High School diploma (College Degree preferred) and equivalent work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Understand and perform basic percentage and margin related equations.
