Litehouse Foods, Inc. is a company that offers a wide variety of salad dressings, fruit dips, glazes, herbs, veggie dips and artisan cheese crumbles.

Litehouse Foods, Inc. started as a small, family restaurant in the 1950’s. In those days, The Litehouse Restaurant was a gathering place in the small town of Hope, Idaho. A place where local residents came together to share good food made with fresh, local ingredients and brought home a jar of the popular Litehouse dressing. Fans of the dressing raved about the creamy, savory flavor that was formulated from fresh, natural ingredients, and soon the word was out – the salad dressing at The Litehouse Restaurant was not to be missed!

We are currently looking for a Retail Direct Sales Representative in Miami, FL.

As a Retail Direct Sales Representative you are responsible for customizing and executing specific programs and plans per the Regional Sales Manager to achieve sales volume, revenue, profit, market share equity objectives for the territory, as well as enhance overall retail broker coverage to assigned customer areas.

Requirements: 
  • High School diploma (College Degree preferred) and equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Understand and perform basic percentage and margin related equations.
  • Must be able to travel to numerous store locations; overnight travel may be required.
  • Must physically be able to lift and move product.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Responsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company guiding principles.
  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communication.
  • Help uphold a “Team Member” environment supporting others with positive behavior.
  • Manage and grow sales and market penetration for assigned geographic regions.
  • Partner with the department manager to gain optimum placement for all Litehouse products in the determined department, including stocking product, placing POS (Point of Sale) material, and gaining extra facings and secondary display as available.
  • Develop relationships with retailers and wholesalers in the the assigned territory that will support Litehouse achieving its goals and objectives. 
  • Develop relationships with each customer at all levels including buyers, merchandisers, field level managers and retail store department managers. 
  • Utilize Brand and Category Management to enhance the customer relationship by becoming experts through data and customized programs for each retailer/wholesaler. 
  • Partner with and utilize your broker to enhance relationships with your customers. 
  • Maintain and secure Litehouse share of shelf or additional share of shelf, by pursuing opportunities to help stores wherever possible, including store resets and grand openings, to enhance business relationships. 
  • Ensure consistent product rotation based on the Litehouse freshness and quality standards.
  • Develop IRC strategies as needed.
  • Partner with the department manager to gain optimum placement for all Litehouse products within the department, including stocking product, placing POS (Point of Sale) material, and gaining extra facings and secondary display when possible.
  • Foster customer relationships by utilizing Market Development, Entertainment and Co-Op funds through customer specific programs and initiatives. 
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations including coupon distribution at priority stores and grand openings.
  • Attend demonstration training sessions and educate demonstration personnel on Litehouse products and uses to maximize promotional efforts and product versatility.
  • Identify and help design promotional plan with Regional Sales Manager to maximize product movement. 
  • Conduct and submit corporate retail audits.  Complete daily and weekly call reports.
  • When necessary, clean (dust off) products and shelving. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
