Limehouse Produce Co. has been at the core of the foodservice industry in Charleston, S.C. for more than 70 years. We currently run 30 trucks per day out of our 30,000 square foot facility to historic downtown Charleston, Summerville, beaches and surrounding areas. There is an immediate opening for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our night warehouse operations. This person will have several years of produce experience and will be responsible for inventory control, receiving, selection, loading, replenishment and supervisory management. - English and/or Spanish oral and written communication skills are required
- Must pass forklift certification test
- Basic computer skills required
- The ability to manage teams and lead employees
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Self motivation and initiative to follow through on daily assignments
- Oversee daily and weekly inventory management
- Oversee Pick/Load area; insure appropriate staffing is allocated; manage the area through designated supervisory personnel
- Monitor and verify shipping warehouse practices and procedures are followed; make recommendations as necessary for continuous process improvement
- Participate in implementation of warehouse management system (WMS)
- Responsible for managing food safety program throughout the warehouse
- Assist in product trace back and recalls
- Effectively communicate with buyer, dispatcher, selectors and loaders
- Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in produce warehouse management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in WMS
