Our philosophy at Legacy Farms is to provide better service than anyone else. Legacy Farms currently operates out of a 100,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art distribution center in Buena Park, CA. With 28 doors and 11 trucks, Legacy Farms Transportation runs over 50 trucks per day.
We are currently searching for a motivated and experienced Tomato Repackers and Supervisor for our busy distribution center in Buena Park. This position will be responsible for overseeing packing house operations including supervising employees, establishing and maintaining quality control standards, procuring materials, shipping, receiving, inventory management, staffing/scheduling, packing, equipment maintenance and repair, personal safety and food safety.
We’re looking for an individual with experience in a tomato repacking environment, with sound leadership skills and supervisory experience. We are a seasoned and dedicated team and we look forward to hearing from qualified candidates who would like to join our dynamic organization.
- Fresh produce experience and knowledge
- Tomato packing experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, oral and written
- Supervisory experience and qualities preferred
- Able to work in cold warehouse environment
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs, bending, stooping, lifting
- Experienced and certified forklift and pallet jack operator
- Maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff.
- Direct all tomato repacking operations including shipping/receiving, inventory control and supervision of repacking staff.
- Ensure the safe and efficient receipt of product from the production line and outside sources with proper recording of quantities and weights.
- Supervise the distribution of product, operating within a reasonable first in, first out process while maintaining superior levels of service for our customers.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations.
- Strong leadership skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to multitask and give clear directions, supervise, and make quick decisions.
