Legacy Farms has an immediate opening for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Buena Park, California.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Warehouse employees:
- Review Time card sheets weekly
- Organizing Anniversary and vacation/sick day forms and record files
- Hiring process, disciplinary process, quit/ process
- Contact person for health benefits, questions, etc.
- Employee handbook review, renew, revise
- Employee bulletin board updates
- Workers comp
- Food safety, GMP, training, meetings, forms.
- Primus audit, maintenance ongoing
- Facility safety, meetings, document
- Janitor oversee, cleaning, maintenance
- Equipment, pallet jacks, baler, tools, cleaning items-scrubbers-etc.
Facility:
- Supplies, inventory, warehouse support needs such as labels and etc., kitchen, toners, etc.
- Refrigeration- repair, maintenance
- CALARP safety rules, inspection, audits
- Water tower
- Sprinkler riser and alarms
- Equipment, pallet jacks, baler, tools, cleaning items-scrubbers-etc.
- Inside outside maintain, docks, doors, floors, plumbing, lights, landscape,
- Invoice matching review on all items, utilities, Penske, etc.
- Soliciting, reviewing bids/offers on supplies, services, equipment
Drivers/Dispatch:
Dispatch oversees drivers directly, but responsible for following:
- CHP BIT program and audit
- Maintain driver files according to Bit program specifics
- Accident/tickets reporting
- Health First Consortium, random driver tests
- Discipline follow up on issues
- Hiring process
- Penske and other repair/cleaning invoice process
Qualifications:
- Prior operational/manufacturing experience required
- Prior experience with packaging required
- Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to manage people
- Computer skills
- Bilingual preferred
