Job Description:
Lakeside Organic Gardens, the state's largest organic grower, packer, and shipper, is currently looking for an Account Manager in Watsonville, CA.
As an Account Manager you are responsible for overseeing all the account operations of the company. This includes all Receivables, Payables, GL Transactions and Financial Statements.

Requirements:
- Prefer CPA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least 5 years accounting experience in a fast paced, rapidly changing office.
- Minimum of 2 years of successfully managing a team in the general accounting area.
- Able to audit all General Ledger accounts, Balance Sheet and Income Statements.
- Proficient in Cost Accounting and prefer experience with Famous Software.
- Must have a thorough understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical skills and good organizational skills to oversee multiple work assignments.
- Team oriented and able to work in a busy fast paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Complete accurate and timely reporting of all receivables and payables as well as cost analysis and all management reports including monthly closings, and financial statements.
- Responsible for crop cost accounting and grower accounting.
- Responsible for internal and external audits and all associated reports.
- Manage accounting staff consisting of 4 employees and hire and train new employees as needed.
- Ensure that all company accounting procedures follow GAAP.
- Establish, maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data and enhance the company’s value.
