Job Description:
Repack Manager will manage and coordinate the daily activities of workers engaged in repacking, which include but are not limited to; training workers in repack procedures in accordance with customers and management specifications.
Job Duties:
- Inspect repack area to determine quality of produce and indicate produce to be repacked or removed
- Review packing list and follow all required food safety procedures
- Inspect repacking area to determine quality of produce and indicate produce to be repacked or removed
- Ensure workers are following repack procedures in accordance with customer & management specifications
- Responsible for compliance with GMP, USDA, and DOL standards
- Conduct safety meetings with their team
- Compile repack reports for operation purposes
- Liaison to payroll, accounting and Human Resources as needed.
Requirements:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Fully understand operation of all repacking equipment and computer controls
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Previous packing Experience supervising employees
