Job Description:
J & J Produce, is a Florida based Agriculture Company with Farming and Grower Agent interests in the southeast US and internationally in Mexico and the Caribbean basin.
We are seeking an extremely motivated Produce Account Representative! The role and responsibility of the Produce Account Representative is to work with our 30+ customer account locations in Dade and Broward counties. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Handling incoming calls
- Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales
- Maintaining complete and accurate records
- Maintaining current customer base
- Exhibit a high level of Professionalism and Personal Presentation
- Provide Excellent Customer service
- Manage and monitor customer forecast and movements
- Continuous updates on the forecast and purchase plan for these accounts
- Collaborate, communicate and cooperate with all departments as pertinent to customer and internal issues
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to deal effectively with a diverse team of individuals at all organizational levels
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills are essential
- Attention to detail
- Ability to speak with customer contacts about complex issues
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual – English/Spanish
- Strong understanding of market trends and commodity
- Sound knowledge of proven sales processes
- Strong work ethic and Team commitment
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - ability to make presentations Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to establish, build, and maintain business relationships
- 3 years Sales experience
- Must possess a driver's license, have an acceptable driving record and have reliable transportation
