Job Description: 

We are looking to add a Transportation Coordinator to our team in Kingsburg, California. 

Requirements: 
  • Answer phones, communicate with customers, drivers, Office Staff and Problem solve with Maintenance, Safety, Sales, Vendors, and other Dispatchers
  • Respond to problems, troubleshoot, adjust, correct, and dispatch
  • Manage and counsel drivers to motivate, improve performance, train, work schedule, create better communication, and trust, ensure         company policies are being followed by all drivers
  • Respond to breakdowns
  • Cultivate customer relations and work to best utilize equipment; work with other dispatchers to maximize efficiency and workload
  • Job Site Coverage: Manage customer inventories levels; safe and operable condition and evaluate driver performance
  • Schedule drivers/loads, give drivers recons, Bill of Lading Sheets, Daily Log Sheets, and Equipment
  • Recap and confirm all orders on a Dispatch Sheet
  • Maximize logistics of driver location to customer origin and destinations in order to maximize driver and company efficiency  
  • Manage all Reefer Drivers on ELD and be aware of HOS
  • Enter all loads into Company Software
Qualifications: 
  • Staying up-to-date in industry standards by continuing education, participating in workshops, etc
  • Possess certain skills and qualifications to be able to efficiently take up more responsibilities
  • Capable of working independently without supervision
  • Knowledge of IT, attention to detail, problem solving, multitasking
  • Good people skills, control stress, must be flexible
  • Ability to coordinate over 50 plus Independent Contractor and/or company drivers to various job sites
  • Excellent customer service skills and driver relation skills
