We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team!

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for accurate sales order entry into the company's interface, providing excellent customer service, and account maintenance of assigned customers.

The Sales Representative is also responsible for entering customer credits and customer complaints into SAP. You will assist customers with issues or questions and follow through and resolve the issues to the best of your abilities. This often requires working closely with other departments within the company.

The work environment of the Santa Cruz Sales Office is casual, and fast paced. Email is an essential form of communication for the Sales Team, we receive, and filter through, a very high volume of important emails daily. Everyone in the office is asked to assist with the many incoming calls.

Requirements: 
  • 3 years minimum of experience in the produce industry.
  • A working sales forecasts, product lines, pricing, inventories, country of origins, Intl and Domestic Farm plan and projections, warehouse procedures and practices, and shipping and logistical methods.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • The position requires some overtime, some weekend hours, and minimal travel.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.
  • Sales order entry into SAP.
  • Completing EDI transactions on ITrade.
  • Assist in monitoring and confirming the accuracy of ALL orders.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring to ensure all orders are covered.
  • Send customer passing.
  • Sales office support.
  • Help answer multi-line phone system in a professional & courteous manner.
  • Create daily reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned and needed.
  • Credit Entry.
  • Track any rejected product and help finalize settlements.
  • Customer Complaints Entry.
  • Account Management (Manage & update Customer Profiles, Pricing).
  • Freight Management.
  • Participate in Sales and other team meetings.
  • Trade shows and other customer and industry events.
